Domiara — Privacy Policy

Domiara is an independent, third-party iOS app for controlling TouchWand smart-home controllers. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TouchWand Ltd., and it is not the official TouchWand app.

The short version

Domiara does not collect your data. The app has no servers of its own, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us or to anyone else. The only network communication the app performs is direct communication between your device and your own TouchWand system — your TouchWand controller on your home network, or your own TouchWand cloud account — so that you can control your home.

This matches the app's App Store privacy label: "Data Not Collected."

1. Who we are

Domiara is published by Secnox Ltd ("we", "us"). Domiara is an independent client app that works with TouchWand smart-home controllers. We are a third party: we do not operate the TouchWand service, we do not have access to your TouchWand account, and we never receive any data from your use of the app.

2. What we collect: nothing

We do not collect, receive, store, sell, share, or process any personal data — or any other data — about you or your use of the app.

• No Domiara servers. The app has no backend operated by us. There is no Domiara account, no Domiara user record, and no infrastructure of ours that your data could reach.
• No analytics. The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting services.
• No advertising. The app contains no ads and no advertising SDKs.
• No tracking. The app does not track you across apps or websites, does not use advertising identifiers, and declares NSPrivacyTracking = false in its Apple privacy manifest.
• No third-party SDKs that receive data. The app does not embed any third-party service that receives data about you.

Under Apple's App Privacy definitions, data is "collected" when it is transmitted off the device in a way that is accessible to the developer or its partners. Domiara transmits nothing to us or to any partner. Accordingly, the app's App Store privacy answers are "Data Not Collected."

3. Data stored on your device

To work, the app stores a small amount of data locally on your iPhone only:

• Your TouchWand credentials and sign-in session. These are stored exclusively in the iOS Keychain, Apple's encrypted credential store, protected so they are available only when your device is unlocked and only on that device. They are never written to ordinary app storage, never written to logs, and never sent anywhere except directly to your own TouchWand controller or your TouchWand cloud account for the sole purpose of signing you in.
• App settings. Local preferences (for example language, the optional Face ID app-lock setting, and your local controller address) are stored on-device.

Signing out removes your credentials and session from the Keychain. Deleting the app removes its on-device data.

Diagnostics stay on your device and are shared only if you choose to share them. Before any diagnostic text is produced, it passes through a redaction step that strips credentials, tokens, cookies, email addresses, IP addresses, and names. Credentials and sign-in requests are never logged at all.

4. Where your data goes: only to your own TouchWand system

The app's only network activity is direct communication between your device and the TouchWand system you already own and have credentials for:

• On your home network: the app talks directly to your TouchWand controller over your local network (LAN). This traffic never leaves your home network. Connections are restricted in the app to private home-network addresses. This is why iOS asks for Local Network permission — the app uses it solely to reach your own controller and control your devices while you are at home.
• Away from home: the app connects to your own TouchWand cloud account (the TouchWand cloud service, e.g. cloud.touchwand.com) over encrypted connections (HTTPS/WSS with standard certificate validation).

In both cases the communication is between you and your own TouchWand system. We are not a party to it, we cannot see it, and we receive nothing from it.

5. Your TouchWand account and its data

Your TouchWand account, and any data associated with it (such as your account details, your controller, your devices, rooms, scenes, and other users of your home), live on TouchWand's service and hardware — not with us. TouchWand's own terms and privacy policy govern how TouchWand handles that data. Please review them on TouchWand's website: https://www.touchwand.com.

The app signs in with the TouchWand user roles your system already defines (for example USER, ADMIN, or TECH); the app simply respects the permissions your TouchWand account grants.

6. Deleting your account

• In-app account deletion: you can delete your TouchWand user account from within the app. Deletion is performed on your own TouchWand system (your controller / your TouchWand cloud account) — because we hold no copy of your account, there is nothing on our side to delete.
• Removing app data: signing out clears your stored credentials and session from the iOS Keychain, and deleting the app removes its locally stored settings.
• For deletion of any data held by TouchWand on its own service, TouchWand's policy applies (see section 5).

7. Device permissions

• Local Network: used only to connect directly to your own smart-home controller on your home network. See section 4.
• Face ID (optional): you can turn on an app lock that requires Face ID to open the app. Face ID is performed entirely by iOS; the app never sees, stores, or transmits your biometric data — it only receives a yes/no result from the system.

The app requests no other sensitive permissions: no location, no camera, no microphone, no contacts, no photos.

8. Demo mode

You can try the app without any account: on the welcome screen, choose "Try demo mode." Demo mode uses fictional sample data only, requires no sign-in, performs no network communication with any real system, and controls no real devices.

9. Purchases

This version of the app contains no in-app purchases and no subscriptions, and therefore processes no payment data.

10. Children

The app is a controller for a household's own smart-home system and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children — the app collects no data from any user (see section 2).

11. Security

• Credentials are stored only in the iOS Keychain (see section 3).
• Cloud connections use HTTPS/WSS with standard TLS certificate validation; the app never disables or weakens certificate checks.
• Unencrypted traffic is permitted only on your local home network, only to validated private home-network addresses, because TouchWand controllers communicate over the LAN this way.
• Logs and diagnostics are redacted as described in section 3.

12. Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices ever change (for example, if a future version added crash reporting), we will update this policy before the change takes effect and update the app's App Store privacy answers to match. The current version of this policy is always available at https://domiara.com/privacy. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised.

9. רכישות

10. ילדים

12. שינויים במדיניות זו
